EP 059 – Ruth Hamblin: Farm Girl to WNBA and beyond

Ruth Hamblin is a professional basketball player hailing from a small farm town in British Columbia, Canada. Shockingly, she didn’t even start basketball until the age of 15, yet went on to become a 2 x Pac-12 defensive player of the year with Oregon State, get drafted in the WNBA, play for Team Canada, and is currently playing overseas in Poland.

Ruth has her eyes set for Tokyo 2021, and shares her experience in pursuing those goals, and the highs and lows along the way. This conversation also features discussions on women in sport, college vs pro sports, and more.
